1st Birthday Contemporary Cake Smash Studio Shoot
My nephew turned 1 years old back in March of this year. I decided to go out on a limb and set up a makeshift studio in my home’s living room to capture this milestone. I let my nephew run the show while we were shooting to ensure we could capture his budding personality.

With two twin newborns in tough, it was a pipe dream to expect our initial session to go smoothly without someone getting hungry. I met up with the Defreece-Haynes’ a couple weeks after their ceremony at Beavertail to shoot some proper bridals. I think we achieved the most romantic couples session I’ve shot yet.
